Your Daily Giant 1/3/2013

A few of many giant skeleton finds in Georgia. As shown in the Smithsonian's own Ethnology reports they were quite active at grave robbing, I mean investigating the area. The Tumlin Mound Field was called that for 100 years, now it is known as the famous Etowah mounds. I have found three accounts of the Hazelton copper crowned giant find. Two speak of the Smithsonian's involvement. From the American Antiquarian 1885 is said, " On the stones which covered the vault were carved inscriptions, and these when deciphered, will doubtless lift the veil that now shrouds the history of the race of people that one time inhabited this part of the American continent. The relics have been carefully packed and forwarded to the Smithsonian Institute, and they are said to be the most interesting collection ever found in the United States." That begs the questions, WTF, giant with copper crown, strange carvings, stone vault, 130 years ago, where is it?
