Today's Daily Giant from the New York Times June 14, 1923 is just your average giant, one of thousands of such skeletons unearthed in the United States. Workmen at the property of Mrs. Kuhn unearthed an "almost perfectly formed" seven foot skeleton. No cover-ups, wild stories, twists or turns, or Smithsonian Institution involved in this account. Oh, sorry, it looks like the Smithsonian was called in to investigate. Well at least this skeleton will get to hang out with some of his buddies in the Smithsonian's collection of 18,000+ skeletons.
