Your Daily Giant 3/1/2013

From the Florida-Miami News June 9th, 1936, comes a report of the unearthing of an 8 foot skeleton. The skull is identified by Karl Squires as being 3/4 of an inch thick. That is twice the thickness of a normal skull. I have read through hundreds of accounts of unusually thick skulls. Quite frankly there are about 15 key words and phrases that were used to describe these finds. Double rows of teeth, massive jawbones, jawbones so large they can fit over the face of the finder, unusually thick skulls, receding forehead, perfect teeth, huge teeth, massiveness of bone structure etc... I often ask how could these traits have been known about if this were some sort of hoax. Obscure town histories and other documents frequently mention these characteristics with no perceived gain to the reporter in an era possessed with slow and inefficient communication. If you have read through several weeks of these posts, I think it should be fairly obvious to the rational minded that this is most certainly a real phenomena. Quite frankly I have never seen a subject labeled as "controversial" or "fringe" have so much evidence that has never or could ever be explained away. I try to evaluate everything that comes before me in the most open minded way possible. If the cup is full then there is no room for anything new to enter. The arrogance of thinking you have all the answers is a disease.
