Today's Daily Giant is a report of Giant's Bones found in Florida. From Popular Science 1934 pg. 35, we read "Remains of what is believed to have been a prehistoric race of American Giants were discovered not long ago by divers at the bottom of Silver Springs near Ocala, Fla." The skeletons were found in a submerged burial chamber and were so large that persons who viewed them believed that they were seven feet tall. The discoveries, including artifacts, occurred during a search for Mastodon bones. This account shows the folly of the skeptics arguments all wrapped into one. This find is in 1934 not in 1734. This was not a case of gigantism, unless a bunch of seven footers all got together to play on the mound builder basketball team in 500 B.C. Obviously they are not Mastodon bones, the professionals were in fact, originally searching for our Ice Age friends at the site. My guess is Popular Science wasn't running too many fake stories with no perceived gain or they wouldn't have been in business very long. There is a clear picture of skeletal remains and the dude dressed up like the little guy in my fish tank in his diving gear, is holding the ancient musket, like the article points out. I can see the understanding of the reality of the existence of giants, starting to awaken in the public's consciousness. Quite a few people told me that on Sunday night, on HBO's Game of Thrones, Season 3 premiere, that the show featured an enormous giant.
