Today's Daily Giant comes from the Eugene Register Guard, December 25, 1950, pg 16. A very intriguing find is reported, "Irish archaeologists have unearthed traces of a bygone race of "supermen". The findings may provide scientific substantiation for legends of a race of seven-foot giants who inhabited the island of Hibernia(Ireland) in its golden age, long before the dawn of history. In a pre-historic burial chamber dating back to 2000 B. C., they found human skeletons which tower head and shoulders over modern man, stretched in slab topped graves with offerings of food and ornaments beside them. Most are around seven feet in height, of extraordinary width of shoulder and massive bone construction". The same descriptions found all over the United States are in fact found all over the globe. These are not tall skinny humans but immense and muscular people. Use of the words massive and extraordinary are usually never thrown around lightly, especially by cautious academics such as archaeologists. The article speaks of legends of giants in the mythology of Ireland. Forgetting about several thousand accounts from all manner of written historical documents around the world, giants are mentioned as a reality by religious texts such as the Bible and the Torah, as part of Native American oral history, by the Freemasons and Rosicrucian's and as part of the oral history and tradition of virtually every civilization ever to inhabit the planet. Can it be that every single one of these sources is somehow meritless? To me, our academic system which ignores anomalies rather than enthusiastically studying them is meritless. At this point, to not believe in the reality of this phenomena is an assault on objective reason.
