Your Daily Giant 1/11/2013

From the Evening Independent Feb. 14th 1925, one of many giant skeletons unearthed in Florida. Once again the Smithsonian is involved, the unearthing of a not less than 7 foot skeleton in a shell mound with an unusually large skull "led to speculation over theories of giant race believed to have inhabited Florida before the coming of the Spaniard." Giant skeletons have been unearthed on both coasts of the U.S. in shell mounds from Florida to Maine and up the west coast. Florida once had a massive shell mound 75 feet high and Maine once had a 30 foot high shell mound called the Whaleback mound. Most of these amazing structures have been mined for use as fertilizer for farming and destroyed. "The specimens are being prepared for shipment to the Smithsonian Institute which already has dispatched one unsuccessful expedition to Florida to excavate shell mounds on the west coast in search of proof of a giant race theory." Not less than 7 feet, that sounds like a successful attempt to me. That's great news we should be hearing very soon what the Smithsonian found.

  1. The Smithsonian probably staged that 'expedition' to fail to quell any and all questions and rumors and previous findings, as they were, at that time, the last word on scientific inquiry.

    1. ...so that the funders of the Smithsonian and other such august institutions could keep people from considering that this civilization could also be easily wiped off the face of the earth, and therefore making workers to contemplate such, and having them giving up and not working, putting a crimp in the oligarchy's bank accounts.
