Your Daily Giant 3/16/2013

Today's Daily Giant comes from the Bruce Herald, Volume-XXX-Issue 3044, March 10, 1899 page 6. Reported is one skeleton nearly 11 feet high based on the observations of the doctor who examined it. Once again we have a report of a massive jawbone, so massive that "An ordinary jawbone fits inside with ease". Other strange discoveries were made as well. Actually not so strange, if you realize that many of these accounts often report curious tablets and hieroglyphs. An earthen tablet 5 inches long, 4 inches wide and half an inch thick was inscribed with "queer characters". A 10 and a half inch long and 3 and a half inch wide casket of earthenware was also described as having the same characters as the tablet carved into it. A copper coin was also discovered. If this were an isolated case maybe it could be explained away but these similar reports are found over and over again, oftentimes ending up with the remains and strange artifacts being sent to the Smithsonian Institution. A former employee of the Smithsonian who was fired for his diffusionist views reported that a barge of inconvenient artifacts had been dumped into the Atlantic by the Smithsonian earlier last century. I can't think of an institution or corporation that hasn't or wouldn't go to great lengths to protect its interests, including criminal behavior. Everyday there is a new scandal in our scandal ridden society. From Chevron recently paying off an Ecuadorian Judge $286,000 to avoid rightfully paying their court ordered $7 Billion dollar fine for the worst environmental crime in human history, to an endless list of corporate and institutional abuses. Halliburton, Blackwater, Goldman Sachs, Citibank, J. P. Morgan, The Vatican, AIG, Dutch Shell, The Federal Reserve, British Petroleum, Exxon-Mobil, General Electric, Koch Industries, Enron, Monsanto etc.. all use money, power and influence to commit or cover-up crimes. These entities, that among other misdeeds, have denied climate change, wage global war on indigenous populations, subvert history, conceal the true origins of humanity, pay little or no taxes by manipulating politicians, destroy wages for working people, endlessly print enslaving debt and engage in an endless war on the environment and the citizens of the planet. If I told you that drug companies write the curriculum for Medical students in this country, would you be surprised, of course not, it is a reality. If I told you should you the same disease afflicts academia, would you be surprised? That doesn't mean all Anthropologists and Archaeologists meet in secret to determine what theories are to be allowed. What it does mean is that flows of funding, academic bias, egoism and arrogance all move in the direction to support preexisting theories, rather than evaluate all evidence in an open-minded and professional way. Accusations of planting evidence or incompetent research await any professional whose theories challenge the status quo. People are waking up to this reality and are tired of academic arrogance and bullying. I believe the proving of this Anthropological mystery will help drive a stake into the heart of a corrupt system and open the door to easily recognize other abuses and corruption in our society by putting it into a proper context. If you haven't figured out who the good guys are yet, I don't know what to tell you.
