Your Daily Giant 4/20/2013

Today's Daily Giant comes from the Ocala Star-Banner, Oct. 19, 1959 pg. 3. Reported is a skeleton seven feet long being found in a burial mound on a deserted island off the Florida West Coast north of Fort Myers. Report of the skeleton came from a Tampa police officer. It is noted that an Anthropologist from the University of Florida would be asked to investigate. Interestingly, Richard Del Valle mentions that there is a legend that a race of tall people occupied ancient Florida. This legend appears to be verified by the large number of giant skeletons unearthed in the state. One of the arguments used to discredit giant skeleton finds by skeptics, is the notion that all of these occurred long ago in some superstitious and ignorant age hundreds of years previous, when citizens couldn't tell Mastodon bones from human bones. The reality is that an enormous amount of these reports come from the 1920's, 30's, 40's and even into the 50's and 60's. Not just seven footers either but eight, nine and ten foot reports as well. I will say out of all the topics considered "controversial", the theories that skeptics use to explain away this particular phenomenon are the most baseless of them all. A disinterested teenager could blow their arguments out of the water with a weekends worth of half hearted research which is available for anyone to access. Hopefully the absurdity of the denials will lead more people to open their eyes to the genuine reality of this truth about the past of humanity.
